HOW'S THE PAST PAPER WORK GOING?

All students sitting Maths exams in January should now be well into past paper questions and exam papers.

DO NOT FORGET THAT YOU CAN ACCESS THE LAST 3 YEARS PURE MATHS PAPERS FROM THE WIKI!

If you want to do well in the Summer then ease the burden by doing well in January. The way to do this is to get as many papers as possible that are still relevant to the course that you are doing. Divide the number of working days left to the exam by the number of papers that you have and that is the number of days to be spending on each paper! (You can have Christmas day and Boxing day off if you like).

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET STUCK?
You can contact Mrs R via the wiki as long as you log in with the user name and password that you have been given. If you do not have one then you can request access to the wiki. Have a good look on the front page.

SO COME ON YEAR 12 and YEAR 13!!! WE WANT YOU TO DO WELL BUT AFTER 19th DEC YOU ONLY HAVE THE WIKI TO HELP YOU. IF YOU NEED HELP THEN USE IT!

FINALLY A reminder that RESIT examinations may have to be paid for if an improvement is not made. This is something that the school is looking at to prevent resits being taken for granted.

REMEMBER that ANY A level Maths teacher in the department will be willing to help you out so GET THOSE PAST PAPERS IN FOR MARKING!!!

Work Hard and you will get the rewards on results day.

YEAR 12 and 13 EXAMINATION INFORMATION

The year 12 and 13 entries have now been completed. Withdrawals can be made but entries can only be added if I (Mrs. R ) has made a major blunder (which would not be the first time!).

The dates for those ALL IMPORTANT exams (and resits) are as follows.

You can check if it a morning or afternoon session by going to the WJEC web site. Here you can also check how your Maths ecxams fit in with your other subjects and PLAN your revision schedule. (Did someone say "Whats That?".

SO IF YOU ARE RESITTING A MODULE GET THOSE PAST PAPERS IN!!!!!!

Its the only way that you are going to improve on your last performance.
